SEASON REGISTRATION FEES

$45.00 for one (1) dancer; $65.00 for families (2+ dancers)

Registration fees are charged upon enrollment and are non-refundable nor transferrable

MONTHLY TUITION FEES BASED ON CLASS LENGTH

30 minutes: $65.00

45 minutes: $75.00

60 minutes: 90.00

75 minutes: 105.00

90 minutes: $115.00

Tuition at TDC is based on the full 9.5-month dance season, not the number of classes per month. Some months may include five classes, others fewer due to holidays, but tuition remains consistent throughout.

Program-Based Structure: Our curriculum is designed as a complete program over the full season, not a per-class model. The total tuition is divided over the year into monthly payments to help our families budget.

Makeup Options: If a class falls on a holiday or break, we offer makeup options to keep students progressing and getting the most out of their training.

This structure ensures consistency, supports our staff and programming, and allows us to offer the highest quality dance education year-round.

UPDATED DROP POLICIES – CLASSES & COSTUMES

The last day to drop classes without incurring tuition for the rest of the season is Thursday, January 22, 2026.

Costume deposits are non-refundable for classes dropped after December 20, 2025.

Costume deposits will be $100 per performance class with 1 costume and $200 per combination class with 2 costumes (two performance pieces in the Finale).

If a dancer has schedule conflicts with dress rehearsal and/or performance dates, they may still take a performance class or classes. However, they will drop the class in mid-May. In this scenario, there would be no costume deposit; May tuition would be prorated; and June tuition would be waived. TDC must be notified of this situation in writing no later than December 20, 2025.

September Tuition Processing:

While registration fees are processed for payment immediately upon enrollment, September costume deposits and prorated September tuition fees will be processed for payment on Tuesday, September 2.

TUITION DISCOUNTS

BALLET BUNDLES

With extended class times this season and additional ballet technique offerings for Ballet Levels 5 & 6, we’re excited to offer bundled monthly tuition pricing to make ballet more accessible and to encourage students to deepen their training in this foundational style. Note: Bundles do not count towards the Multiple Technique Class Discount (details below).

Ballet 7 Performance (1.5 hrs) + Ballet 7 Technique (1.5 hrs) = $200 (Regularly $230)

Ballet 6 (1.5 hrs) + Ballet 5/6 Technique class (1 hr) = $175 (Regularly $205)

Ballet 5 (1 hr) + Ballet 5/6 Technique class (1 hr) = $150 (Regularly $180)

Ballet/ Jazz 4 (1.5 hrs) + Ballet 4 (1 hr) = $175 (Regularly $205)

Students in Ballet/Jazz 4 may take the ballet portion (first hour) of the other Ballet/Jazz 4 class offered during the week for additional technique. These students will still perform with their primary class and can drop the extra ballet class in mid-May when it shifts heavily to recital choreography.

To enroll in this option, please register for the full combo class and email us at billing@thedancecentrecle.com to let us know your dancer will attend only the ballet portion so we can adjust your billing accordingly.

TECHNIQUE CLASS DISCOUNT

We encourage technique classes which are the foundation of a dancer’s skill set. There are no shortcuts to development of muscle memory and proper body placement for strong and safe dancing. For this reason, TDC offers a sliding scale discount on technique classes per dancer. Technique classes include: Acro, Ballet (including pre-pointe AND pointe), Dance Team Skills, and  JLT. After the first technique class, the technique class with the lowest monthly tuition fee is discounted first. Note: Bundled classes are excluded from this discount.

2nd class –10% off

3rd class – 20% off

4th class –30% off

5th class – 40% off

6th class – 50% off

MULTI-STUDENT DISCOUNT

For families with 3 students enrolled, a 25% discount will be applied to the student in the family with the lowest total class tuition. For a family with 4 students, the 25% discount will be applied to the two students in the family with the lowest total class tuition. This program cannot be combined with the Technique Class Discount or Work Study.

CLUB TDC WORK STUDY

By participating in the Work Study Scholarship Program, students benefit from reduced tuition costs while gaining valuable experience assisting TDC teachers in class.

TDC offers a monthly tuition cap of $565 for students who are eligible to assist with a weekly class from September through June.

When a dancer’s monthly tuition total reaches $565 for the month, additional tuition costs are waived, regardless of the number of classes taken.

Non-tuition costs, such as costume deposits, rehearsals to learn routines, workshops, and intensives are not included.

The Work Study program cannot be combined with the Technique Class or Family Discount program.

Club TDC dancers on Work Study will not incur the $16/hour rehearsal fee for any additional rehearsals of previously learned pieces once the season begins.

PRIVATE LESSONS

For dancers who are interested in taking private lessons, please contact Laurie Masters at 440-517-5558 or info@thedancecentrecle.com to learn more about our offerings, studio and instructor availability and pricing structure.

Costumes will be charged a $100 deposit per costume. To assist with budgeting costume costs, in addition to dancers’ monthly class tuition fees, costume deposits of $25 per performance class will be billed from September through December 2025 ($100 total).

For combination classes that perform two routines in the Season Finale, a $50 costume fee will be charged from September through December 2025 ($200 total).

Costume deposits are refundable through December 20, 2025 if a class has been dropped, and written notice is received by Billing no later than December 20. COSTUME ORDERING PROCESS

We begin ordering costumes in December to ensure timely arrival for “Picture Days” in May.

Costumes are often made to order and can take many months to arrive.

TDC pays for the full cost of your costume upfront when orders are placed in December.

After December 20, 2025, costume fees are non-refundable, regardless of your dancer’s participation in the Season Finale.

COSTUME ALTERATIONS & ADJUSTMENTS

While we take dancer measurements before winter break to ensure the most accurate sizing, variations between costume styles and manufacturers can affect fit. As a result, costumes may require alterations or adjustments, which are the responsibility of the dancer’s family. In some cases, TDC may coordinate these alterations and bill the associated cost to your account.

COSTUME PICK-UP

Costumes may not be taken home until account balances are paid in full.

TDC will email and post announcements for the costume pick-up date at the studio before "Picture Days.”

If a student drops out after costumes are ordered, TDC reserves the right to borrow that student’s costume for another student to "fill in" if it is in the best interest of the class.

Your costume will be available for pick-up after the Season Finale. Please text 440-517-5558 or email billing@thedancecentrecle.com to arrange pick-up.

Costumes not picked up by August 1, 2026, will be donated.

September tuition will be prorated by 50%.

September billing statements will be sent to families on August 25.

Tuition and costume deposits for September will be billed on September 2 using the preferred payment method. (See the Payment Options section below for more detail.)

If a dancer drops a class before the September 2 billing date, September tuition will still be due as we have reserved a spot for the dancer in the class.

Fee credits or refunds will be provided in full if a class is canceled by TDC.

Tuition Collection & Monthly Payments:

Full monthly tuition will be charged on the first business day of each month from October 2025 through May 2026 (includes full month of June tuition), regardless of whether there are 3, 4, or 5 weeks during that payment period.

Tuition paid each month is applied to the upcoming month’s tuition fees.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

The Parent Portal allows for up to two (2) methods of payment (either credit card or checking or savings accounts). If entering more than one form of payment, identify your primary method of payment in the Portal to ensure your preferred payment method is used by TDC for billing purposes.

I understand that this card will be used by TDC to make payment on all my dance fees on their respective due dates. This includes, but is not limited to, registration fees, monthly tuition, costume deposits, NSF fees, and other payments. I understand that payment of all fees is my responsibility. Pre-authorized ACH / Bank Account Payment Authorization Acknowledgement
I authorize TDC to use the bank account information I've provided online via the Parent Portal. I understand that pre-authorized payments can be made from a savings or checking account only. I understand that payment of all fees is my responsibility. I acknowledge that payment may be deducted a day or more after the tuition due date depending upon each bank's processing time. I agree that TDC will use this account to pay my dance fees on the published due dates.  This includes, but is not limited to, registration fees, monthly tuition, costume deposits, NSF fees, and other payments. I further understand that it is my responsibility to maintain current banking information in the Parent Portal, and that for data security, any changes or updates to my bank account information must be made by me through the Portal.

DECLINED PAYMENTS POLICY

The following applies to the payment options outlined above. Please ensure that payments are made on time to avoid additional fees and disruptions to class attendance.

Declined Payments:  A non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee of $25, will be charged for declined payments for all declined payments regardless of the payment amount due.

Grace Period: Clients will have a 7-day grace period to rectify the payment with no additional late fee charged. Note that the above fee still applies.

Late Fees: If the balance due and the NSF fees have not been paid by the eighth day, a $15 late fee per week will be charged until payment is made.

Class Attendance: After one month of the unpaid balance, the student will not be allowed to attend classes.

COLLECTION OF UNPAID BALANCES POLICY

In the event TDC is required to take legal action to collect any unpaid balance from a client, the client acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to all damages related to the unpaid balance, TDC shall also be entitled to recovery and reimbursement of all its costs and expenses incurred in connection with such legal action, including reasonable attorney's fees, from client.

CLASS ENROLLMENT POLICY

This policy ensures that each student is placed in the most appropriate class for their development and that our class schedules remain responsive to the needs of our students and instructors.

Class Placements: All class placements are determined by the studio Director and faculty with each student's best interests in mind.

Class Changes and Cancellations: TDC reserves the right to cancel, change, or reschedule a class based on attendance and/or registration. Instructors are subject to change.

Waitlist: Dance classes that have reached maximum enrollment will display a WAITLIST link. Please click the link to be added to our waitlist.  Joining the waitlist represents a commitment to the enroll in the class should a space become available; and for paying the related fees upon enrollment. TDC will notify families when they have moved from the waitlist to the class enrollment.

Initial Class Adjustment Period: During the first six weeks of classes, instructors may suggest a change of class (either to a higher or lower level) based on the dancer's ability, experience, motivation, and focus. If a change is deemed necessary, TDC will reach out to the primary contact to discuss class options.

Prerequisite / Supplemental Class Requirements: Please review the brief descriptions of each class for any listed prerequisites when enrolling. For example, certain classes require enrollment in a JLT (jumps, leaps & turns), and/or ballet class.

REGISTRATION LIMITS

In the event a class is waitlisted due to high enrollment, dancers in Club TDC who need to meet specific class requirements will receive priority for class placement.

CLASS DROP POLICY

Please ensure you are certain of your class choices before registering and be mindful of the deadlines for providing written notice to avoid unwanted tuition or costume charges.

Drop Period: Students can drop classes from October 1, 2025, through January 22, 2026. (See Notice Requirement below for more information.)

Tuition Responsibility: Students dropping classes during this period will be responsible for tuition payments through the end of the current pay period. For example, if written notice is emailed to TDC between October 1 and October 31, tuition is due for the full month of October with no refunds.

Notice Requirement: Written notice via email (billing@thedancecentrecle.com) is required at least seven (7) business days prior to the next pay period, as payments are charged on the first business day of each month. For example, if a written notice is received by TDC on February 15, March tuition will not be charged.

Non-Attendance: If a student stops attending classes without providing written notice, future tuition payments remain due until written notice is received.

Continuing with Class But Not Performing in Season Finale: If a dancer has conflicts with the dress rehearsal and/or performance dates, they may still take a performance class or classes. However, they will drop the class in mid-May. In this scenario, there would be no costume deposit; May tuition would be prorated; and June tuition would be waived. TDC must be notified of this situation in writing no later than December 20, 2025.

SECOND SEMESTER DROP POLICY

Students may drop classes up until January 22, 2026. As of February 1, 2026, the remaining yearly tuition balance is owed monthly, regardless of class attendance in the second semester. For example, if a class is dropped on March 1, the family is responsible for the monthly tuition for that class through June 2026.

Costume deposits will not be refunded or credited for classes dropped on or after December 20, 2025.

Season Finale Participation Package: If TDC does not receive written notice of class drops by January 22, 2026, TDC assumes students in performance classes are participating in the season finale. After this date, families are responsible for the Season Finale Participation Package, regardless of participation. Please see the Season Finale Dance Performance and Costume Payment Policy sections for more information.

MISSED CLASSES, STUDIO CLOSURES & MAKEUP CLASS POLICIES

NOTIFICATION OF CLOSURES

TDC will send email reminders regarding planned holiday or unexpected studio closures due to bad weather or other circumstances. In the event of extreme cold, TDC may remain open when Rocky River schools close since most dancers arrive by car to the studio. In the event of unexpected closures, tuition will not be reimbursed for classes missed. However, students are eligible to attend makeup classes.

MAKEUP CLASS POLICY GUIDELINES

Our makeup policy is designed to enable students to attend another class as a makeup for missed classes due to studio closures, holidays, illness, injury, or family emergencies. It also accommodates occasional discretionary activities, such as school concerts or family travel.

The policy is not intended for students who miss classes due to extended or regularly scheduled discretionary activities that conflict with their weekly dance classes. Kindly refrain from requesting makeup classes in this situation. Our objective is to provide makeup classes to support students in maintaining their commitment to their dance education, while providing flexibility for occasional unavoidable absences.

MAKEUP CLASS SCHEDULING

Advance Scheduling: Makeup classes must be scheduled through our office at least one day prior to the intended makeup class. This ensures the instructor is informed and there is adequate space in the class. Please email info@thedancecentrecle.com to schedule makeup classes.

Timeframe: Makeup classes must be attended within four weeks after the missed class and must be taken during a paid month. Makeup classes cannot be attended prior to the actual missed class, only after the class has been missed.

Class Level: Makeup classes should be in the student’s current level or one level below, and in a similar style as the missed class. TDC approval is required for eligible classes.

We highly encourage students with injuries to attend class as an observer, when possible. However, if it is not possible due to the extent of an injury, makeups may be scheduled.

MAKEUP CLASS ELIGIBILITY & RESTRICTIONS

Suitability: Some classes may not be suitable for makeup due to the time of year or subject matter. For example, acro classes (require requisite skills for safety). Makeup classes may not be suitable in late spring in performance classes since they focus heavily on recital choreography.

Technique Classes: Most classes focused solely on technique, such as Pre-Pointe, Pointe 1, JLT, and Acro classes are available for makeups through the end of the season; pending student’s requisite skills to safely take class.

Delinquent Accounts: Makeup classes cannot be scheduled if the student's account is delinquent.

LATE SEASON MAKEUPS

Later in the second semester, makeup class options are limited due to performance classes focusing heavily on Season Finale choreography. For this reason, we offer the opportunity to schedule makeup classes during our summer session for classes missed as follows:

Spring Break: Saturday, April 4 – Sunday, April 12, 2026

Memorial Day: Monday, May 25, 2026

Please note that if a technique class is available and a student is eligible to attend during the current season and before our summer session, that option takes precedence over a summer makeup class.

For students missing classes due to illness, injury, or discretionary activities from April through June, makeup classes may be scheduled through the end of our season on Saturday, June 13 by following the steps listed above. The extension of makeup classes into the summer semester is specifically for the planned studio closures in late spring.

NUMBER OF CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR MAKEUPS BY CLASS DAY

Mondays - 6

Tuesdays - 3

Wednesdays - 3

Thursdays - 4

Saturdays - 5

EXCESSIVE ABSENCES POLICY

Consistent attendance helps dancers thrive and ensures a strong, supportive class environment for everyone. When absences do occur, they can impact not only a dancer’s individual progress, but also their classmates and instructors. Here are a few key reminders about attendance:

No Tuition Refunds: Absences do not qualify for tuition refunds.

Notification: Students or parents should enter absences in the Parent Portal by 3:30 pm the day of the absence(s) to inform us of the classes to be missed and the reason for the absence(s).

Responsibility: Students are responsible for catching up on any choreography or notes missed due to an absence. We appreciate students taking the initiative to catch up with a classmate, but please note that consistent attendance is crucial for significant progress. The information relayed and student-teacher interactions during class cannot be replicated by other means.

Dismissal: TDC reserves the right to dismiss a student from class due to multiple absences and/or tardiness.

Season Finale Performance: If performing in the Season Finale, dancers may not miss more than four (4) of each of their classes in the second semester (January 5, 2026, through June 13, 2026).

TARDINESS POLICY

Late Arrival: Students arriving more than 10 minutes late to class must have the teacher's permission to participate and may be instructed to begin with a separate warmup exercise.

Eligibility for Makeup Classes and Refunds: Students denied class participation due to tardiness will not be eligible for a makeup class or tuition refunds.

Consistent Tardiness: Consistent tardiness may result in permanent dismissal from the class.

Disruption: Please note that tardiness is a distraction for the rest of the class and can disrupt the learning environment.

INJURIES / MEDICAL ISSUES POLICY

Notification of Injuries: The Director must be informed in writing of any personal injuries or issues before class to ensure instructors are fully aware of the student's condition or situation. (Please refer to the Hold Harmless Agreement section for more information.)

Doctor's Note: TDC reserves the right to request a doctor's note granting permission for a student to return to classes after an injury.

Short-Term Injuries / Medical Issues: If a dancer is injured or has a medical issue for a short period, no account credit or tuition reimbursement will be issued. The student will be expected to observe classes and take notes during this time.

Long-Term Injuries / Medical Issues: If an injury or a medical issue requires long-term rest and/or withdrawal from classes and the student will not be performing in the Season Finale, refunds or credits may be issued at the Directors’ discretion. This will be upon receiving a doctor's note outlining the nature of the injury.

CLASSROOM CONDUCT & OTHER POLICIES

We take pride in maintaining a professional yet friendly and nurturing environment. We expect our students and families to be respectful towards one another, the teachers and studio space and property. TDC directors and staff work hard to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment. Behavior in and around the studio that does not contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive environment for staff and students will not be tolerated. The following policies ensure a positive and productive environment for all our students and staff. Any questions or concerns should be brought directly to TDC instructors and/or the director.

PHOTO & VIDEO RECORDING
To protect the privacy and safety of all TDC dancers and staff, photography, video, or audio recordings—including on apps like TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat—are strictly prohibited in dressing rooms, restrooms, and other private spaces, both on and off-premises. Recording or posting content featuring others without their consent is not permitted.

If this policy is violated, the following steps may be taken:

First Violation: A formal warning and conversation with the dancer and parent/guardian. Any content must be deleted immediately.

Second Violation: Temporary restriction of device use on TDC property and/or at TDC event

Repeated or Serious Violations: May result in loss of performance privileges or dismissal from the program. Tuition and fees remain non-refundable.

Please note: Depending on the severity of the situation, TDC reserves the right to take immediate action, including removal from the program, without going through each step listed above.

We appreciate your partnership in creating a respectful and secure environment for every dancer in our community.

DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR POLICY

We are committed to fostering personal responsibility and accountability among our students. We understand the importance of the learning process and expect studio rules to be followed. If a student's behavior disrupts a class, the following steps may be taken:

Verbal Warnings: The dancer will receive up to three (3) verbal warnings.

Reflective Opportunity: The dancer will be given an opportunity to reflect on and correct the disruptive behavior.

Consultation: There will be a consultation with the student and/or parents, depending on the situation.

Dismissal from Class: If the disruptive behavior continues, the student may be expelled from the class temporarily or permanently. In this instance, fees will not be refunded or credited.

DISMISSAL POLICY

The studio reserves the right to temporarily or permanently revoke a student’s enrollment at TDC for the following:

Non-Observance of TDC Policies: Pervasive failure to adhere to studio policies.

Inadequate Program Fit: Student's needs cannot be adequately met with TDC’s current program.

Abusive Behavior: Physical and/or verbal abuse of staff or students, by either a parent or child.

Non-Payment or Late Payment: Non-payment or recurring late payment of fees.

DRESS CODE POLICY

Proper dance attire, footwear, and appearance are fundamental for dance training and safety. Students must wear the specified dance clothing, shoes, and hairstyle for each class. Failure to adhere to the dress code will result in a warning, followed by being asked to sit out during class (this does not count as an absence). Please note, Jewelry, cell phones, and watches are not permitted in class.

DRESS CODE

A link to TDC's 2025 - 2026 Dress Code can be found on the Parent Portal Latest Announcement section prior to the start of the season. Dress codes are listed by class.

DANCE FOOTWEAR

Avoid the temptation to purchase dance shoes with room to grow. Properly fitting dance shoes are essential for safety and comfort.

Shoe exchange: TDC has an assortment of donated dance shoes available to borrow free of charge. Contact us to make an appointment to try on donated shoes at 440-517-5558 or info@thedancecentrecle.com

Hip hop shoes must be CLEAN, DRY, and CARRIED IN FOR CLASS, not worn outside immediately prior. Dancers entering the building wearing sneakers will be asked to remove them for class. Help us keep our floors clean and safe and damage-free.

Do not wear dance shoes outside. For young dancers with ballet shoes, consider having them enter and exit the studio with their ballet slippers on wearing Crocs-style shoes over them.

Recommended Local Dancewear Store: Footsteps Dancewear, 24048 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.

PARKING, PICK-UP, AND DROP-OFF POLICY

1249 Smith Court Location (Studios T, D, and C)

ENTERING & EXITING THE STUDIO & PARKING LOT

Entry: Our lobby is open, and students and parents may enter through both the upper and lower-level doors.

Parking: All vehicles must be parked in a designated parking spot.

Traffic Flow: Do not park in front of entrances or block the driveway. If you pull into the semi-circular driveway on the upper level and your dancer is not ready, please leave the parking lot and re-enter to avoid traffic jams.

OVERFLOW PARKING

Additional parking is available towards the southwest end of Smith Court at the Stoneridge Building, 20006 Detroit Rd. This parking is available to TDC clients on weekdays from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.

Do not park in front of the building directly across the street from TDC as they have limited spots for their clients and will tow unauthorized vehicles.

SUPERVISION & SAFETY

Please wait with your child in the lobby until the teacher is ready to invite students into the classroom. Children cannot be left unsupervised in our lobby before class.

Students should be picked up promptly after class unless special arrangements are made with the Director ahead of time.

Do not allow younger children to walk in the parking lot alone. It is difficult to see them from a driver’s point of view. Please take the time to park your vehicle and meet your child at the studio door.

All students, regardless of age, should wait inside the building until their parent or guardian arrives.

Students who have class in Studio T should wait in the lower lobby if they arrive early and there is no teacher upstairs yet. We do not want students left unsupervised in the upstairs foyer.

TDC is not responsible for unsupervised children at the studio outside of their scheduled class time.

All persons entering through the lower level (not just students) must remove outdoor shoes and place them in the cubbies or shoe trays to keep our lobby and dance floors safe and clean.

OTHER POLICIES

Studio Entry: No students may enter the studio/dance space without the instructor present or without an instructor's or the director’s permission.

Early Departure: If a dancer needs to leave class early, the instructor must be informed before class begins.

Food and Drink: No food, gum, or open liquid containers are allowed in the studios.

Floor Safety: No lotion, powder, talc, rosin, or water on the floors. Do not apply lotion before attending class, as it creates dangerous, slick spots on the Marley floor that cannot easily be removed. Report any damp or wet floors immediately to a teacher. Avoid these areas and do not dance in any damp or wet spots.

LOST & FOUND

All items found in and around the studio will be placed in the TDC locker room cubbies. TDC will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items.  We highly recommend families:

Label all water bottles, clothing, dance bags, dance shoes, and dance attire with th

eir child's name.

Leave all valuables at home.

Are aware that unclaimed and unidentifiable items left at the studio will be held for up to two weeks. After this time, they will be donated to charity or thrown away.

DISCLAIMERS & RELEASES

ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE

Your electronic signature is required to confirm your child's registration. It indicates you have read and accepted our Studio Policies as listed above. I understand that submission of this online registration includes my electronic signature and that my electronic signature requires my understanding and acceptance of The Dance Centre by Kayleigh LLC ("TDC") studio policies and conditions. Parents of Club TDC Dancers acknowledge that there are additional policies and an agreement to be signed for participation in this performance group.

IMAGE RELEASE

I hereby irrevocably consent to TDC's use of my child's name and likeness, including her/his performance, voice and image in any form, whether via still photography, audio and/or video recording, or otherwise ("Media"), that are taken and/or recorded during class time, performances, etc. I authorize TDC to use all such Media on their website, in printed material, and/or all other internet and social media without further consideration.

I agree that TDC shall own all right, title and interest to such Media (including all content and all rights embodied therein) and that it may use, edit, modify, and distribute the Media, without limitation, and without compensation, further permission or notification to me. I hereby waive any inspection or approval of use. I also waive and release TDC, and all its owners, employees, agents, and representatives, from any claims based upon invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, false endorsement, or claim of visual or audio alteration or faulty mechanical reproduction.

PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDINGS

Out of respect for the privacy of TDC dancers and teachers, photos, video and audio recordings (including on apps such as TikTok and Snapchat) are strictly prohibited on the studio premises and in any on- or off-premises dressing rooms unless approved in writing by the TDC Director. Failure to comply with this policy may result in temporary or permanent dismissal from the studio. Fees may still be due and will not be refunded or credited in this instance.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

I fully acknowledge and understand that dance class participation frequently includes exercise, bodily contact and other associated dangers, which may result in property damage or personal injury to my child. I hereby assume such risks and further covenant not to sue TDC, or any of its owners, employees, agents and/or representatives, for any and all loss or damage, including property damage, personal injury, and disability, arising out of or in any way related to my child's enrollment at TDC. I hereby agree to fully assume the risk and full responsibility of all such injury, loss, damage, and disability due to the negligence of others, including those being released herein, and on behalf of myself, my spouse, my child, and my next of kin. I acknowledge that I have read this liability waiver and that I am waiving any claim as set forth herein for myself, my child, my spouse, and my next of kin, and that I forever release, discharge, and will hold TDC, including its owners, employees, agents, and representatives, harmless from any such claims or actions. I understand that TDC and its agents urge all students to obtain a physical examination from their physician prior to attending any class.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL RELEASE AUTHORIZATION

In the event my child or I require medical care for any reason, I hereby authorize and give my consent to TDC, and its owners, employees, agents, and/or representatives, to seek such care on behalf of my child or myself and/or transfer them or me to any hospital or medical facility at my sole cost and expense.  If possible, TDC will make reasonable attempts to call the primary account contact’s phone number(s) listed in their online Parent Portal prior to seeking such care and treatment for my child or me. I further agree that it is my sole and absolute responsibility to pay for the cost of any such care and treatment and that I will indemnify and hold TDC, including its owners, employees, agents, and/or representatives, harmless from all such costs.

PUBLIC HEALTH & SAFETY DISCLAIMER

Students and teachers may wear masks to class if they feel more comfortable doing so.  In the event the CDC or the government mandates masks for public health and safety reasons, TDC reserves the right to require them to be worn and/or to maintain social distancing at the studio.

Students who are ill (i.e.: cough, headache, fever, sore throat, etc.) should stay home until they are fully recovered, and we request any student recovering from an illness to wear a mask.  It is important that dancers take the time they need to fully recover and avoid exposing others to their illness.

While TDC strives to provide a clean and sanitary environment, as a public location there is inherent risk of exposure to viral and/or bacterial infections, and we cannot guarantee students will not be exposed during their time at TDC.

FORCE DE MAJEURE

In the event the studio must close due to force de majeure, we will transfer our programming to online learning. If a family would like to opt out of online learning, a 30-day written withdrawal notice will be required. Tuition billing will stop at the end of the withdrawal period, and you will be responsible for tuition during that time. If the studio is forced to close and cannot operate via online learning, we will freeze accounts until further notice.
