Class Offerings
Our classes require placement as levels are based on a combination of age, experience, and skill. Our levels and class groupings are designed each season with the best interest of each of our dancers and their progress in mind.
We offer dance classes for all ages!
Class Styles:
The first three weeks of class will focus on PreK Ballet foundations and creative movement. The last three weeks of class will focus on Hip Hop basics and creative movement. Basic movement concepts, elements of ballet and hip hop with upper and lower body coordination, learning to move rhythmically, song and dance & storytelling will be a focus of class. Class etiquette is also part of class practice.
Students will share what they learned during this six-week session through a mini-performance at the studio for parents and siblings during the last class on Saturday, February 17!
Students must be 3 years old by January 13.

This class allows for bonding between the child and caregiver while exploring with egg shakers, scarves, parachutes, and obstacle courses.
Active listening skills and routines will be introduced in a gentle, caring, and fun environment! Through guided play, movement topics such as levels, tempo, space, and sizes will be introduced!
Class etiquette is also part of class practice. Students must be in Kindergarten during the 23-24 season.

This is a combination class of ballet and jazz. The ballet portion of class will focus on developing fine motor skills and implementing ballet positions and movements that are foundational to the technique. Dancers learn upper and lower body coordination in stationary and locomotive movement. Jazz includes body placement, isolations, basic jazz steps and movements with directional changes, and basic turns and leaps.
While much technique will be addressed during the ballet portion, more focus in the jazz section of class will be placed on movement patterns and choreography.
Class will follow a structured progression of warming up, learning and exploring new skills while practicing classroom etiquette!
At least one year of hip hop experience recommended. Hip Hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture and made popular by dance crews in the United States.
Class will follow a warmup with basic hip hop steps and grooves.
Student will learn to isolate certain parts of the body, practice directional changes, learn and explore new skills while practicing classroom etiquette.
Learning to put combinations of steps together and presenting choreography is a main part of this class.
