The Dance Centre is thrilled to present a wide variety of summer classes, camps & intensives for new and returning students this summer! Our themed-camps, flex sessions, adult sessions & intensives will encourage dancers to try new styles, meet new friends, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun!

Ages 3-5: FAIRY FROLIC CAMP
A fairy-themed ballet and creative movement camp! Meet new friends, learn ballet technique, experience storytelling, song & dance and creative movement. Students will create a special craft!

Ages 4-7: JUNGLE JAMZ CAMP
A jungle animal-themed acrobatics and hip-hop camp! Meet new friends, learn basic acrobatic skills, and work on hip hop technique, grooves and choreography. Students will create a special craft! Mini performance for parents on the last day.

Ages 7-11: BROADWAY & POP STARS CAMP
A Broadway and pop-star themed musical theatre and jazz dance camp. Meet new friends, practice jazz dance technique, and learn exciting musical theatre choreography! Students will create a special craft! Mini performance for parents on the last day.

FLEX SESSIONS
We know how busy summer can be, and we are excited to offer classes in 4-, 6- or 8-week packages for each class style. Classes do no not need to be used in consecutive weeks, allowing families flexibility to choose which classes to attend!
SUMMER BALLETMODERN FUSION- Ages 7-11
Become a more well-rounded and versatile dancer with this fusion class of ballet and modern! Dancers will take a ballet warm-up, followed by modern floor work and center work. By fusing ballet and modern, dancers will learn how to utilize different dance techniques in order to further their understanding of how to work their bodies and apply these principles to other forms of dance; with ballet focusing on the coordination and ornamentation of steps, and modern focusing on the internal musculature and flow of movement in a space.

4-Week Session: $160
SUMMER BALLETMODERN FUSION- Ages 12+

SUMMER PRE-POINTE & POINTE- Ages 12+
This class is for students recommended to pointe, already en-pointe, or aspiring to be en-pointe and also enrolled in TDC's Summer BalletModern Fusion class. Dancers who are not yet en-pointe can benefit from this class as it will build the dancer’s strength and readiness for pointe work. Those already en-pointe can continue to strengthen their skills through the summer, or get a head start on the season, if newly recommended to pointe.

SUMMER INT/ADV HIP HOP- Ages 11+
One of our most popular sessions! Class will follow a warm up with hip hop steps and grooves. Students will work to isolate certain parts of the body, explore new skills, and learn exciting choreography!

June 28-August 23 (no class week of July 4)
4-Week Session: $115
SUMMER ADULT HIP HOP
This popular class is back! A fun and funky movement class for adults. Class will start with a warm-up including conditioning, strengthening and flexibility exercises, followed by hip hop movements and body isolations, concluding with hip hop choreography!

SUMMER INTENSIVES
TDC Intensives offer a variety of exciting classes with experienced teachers and inspiring guest artists! Intensives are perfect for dancers ages 7-18 who desire to take their skill and artistry to the next level.

TDC Summer Dance Intensive for ages 7+ with experience offers a variety of exciting classes with experienced teachers and inspiring guest artists!
Required for Club TDC Originals, Groove Crew, & Fly Girlz
Cost: $400
Summer Ballet & Contemporary Intensive
(Ages 7-18)
Tuesday-Thursday, September 5-7
5:30-8:30 PM
Students ages 7+ with ballet experience are invited to Join us for this exciting 3-day workshop to expand and improve your technique for ballet and contemporary dance! Classes will focus on ballet and contemporary technique, foot and ankle strength, pirouettes, arabesques, improvisation, dance conditioning, choreography and more!
Intensive is mandatory for Jr. & Sr. Ballet Ensemble dancers.
Cost: $200
